What to look for in the Best Smart TV with Voice Control? (Buying Guide)
There are some factors you need to check while selecting a Smart TV that offers voice control. I’ll go through each of them, so that you can make an informed choice.
Voice Control availability
First and foremost, you need to make sure that the Smart TV offers Voice Control in one way or the other.
Some Smart TVs have their own voice assistant (like the LG C2 Smart TV), while others use either Alexa or Google Assistant. Some TVs offer hands-free voice control, while others have a voice remote. Whatever the case, make sure the TV offers voice control in some way.
Picture Quality
Apart from voice control, this is the most important factor. Picture quality includes reasonable brightness and contrast levels.
If you have the budget, go for a 4K Smart TV, otherwise HD (1080p) resolution is also acceptable.
Smart Features
The Smart TV you choose shall have all the necessary streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime Video and many more. Make sure your favorite streaming apps come built into the Smart TV you choose.
Viewing angle
This one is really significant, especially if you wish to mount your Smart TV on one side of your room. Viewing angle in simple terms means the ability of a TV to be viewed at an angle, without disrupting/degrading its picture quality.
Although some luminance degradation is inevitable, the image should ideally not have lesser brightness and glare when viewed from the sides.
User Interface
The Operating System (OS) that comes with your Smart TV determines the Interface. Roku is the best when it comes to the UI of Smart TVs. Make sure that the navigation between the apps is simple, there is minimal input lag and the Interface is bug-free.
How we chose?
When selecting the Best Smart TV with Voice Control, we considered all the above-mentioned factors. Having only voice control isn’t the only thing we looked at, but we believe that having a reasonable picture quality, smart features, viewing angle and the UI are all important when choosing the best Smart TV for yourself.
